Pretty much meaningless after TLOUP1 launched as “Steam Deck Playable” and was nowhere near that. I don’t expect FromSoft to screw it up, but the label has been shown to not be a guarantee.

ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON is a seriously exciting upcoming release from the ELDEN RING developer FromSoftware.

Valve gave it a Steam Deck Playable rating with Proton 8.0-3 on August 12th, with the rating just now going live.

It’s Playable and not Verified due to it having some in-game text that might be too small.

Hopefully this is something that FromSoftware will address, because it’s an annoying reoccurring issue even on desktop some games text is just tiny.

As a huge fan of games and media with big mechs, ARMORED CORE VI FIRES OF RUBICON is something I’m going to be taking a look at for sure.

So I’ll be letting you know if it runs properly on desktop Linux and Steam Deck just after release.

Checks out. The hardware requirements aren’t that much different from Elden Ring and that game runs pretty good on the Steam Deck as well
