VR Chat two days a week, Horizon three days a week, Resonite one day a week. It’s a slightly different crowd between the platforms with some overlap. We play Walkabout Mini Golf once a month, too.
Yep! They were a godsend in the first two weeks. I’ve also been going to AA meetings in VR.
Alcohol, but I’m 53 days sober
Well, pumpkins, looks like it’s the age-old dilemma. Style… or substance.
+1 for Inscryption. I started playing it blind because I saw it was a card battler. The twist left my jaw on the floor.
I only like open world games when I can really immerse myself into roleplaying. Oblivion and FFXI (if that counts) were perfect for this style of playing. Most open world games just don’t hit the mark, unfortunately, and I’d rather play a linear game that feels like reading a good book.
Pittsburgh. (Only open link if you have an ad blocker, our local news websites are garbage.) https://www.wtae.com/article/pittsburgh-pennsylvania-storm-damage-restoration/64642751
Went ahead and requested it off work. Hopefully I don’t lose power for a fuckin week like I did with Oblivion Remastered.
Sounds like your emails are too long. Trim it to the minimum amount of words to get your point across and be professional, and put all questions in a numbered list.
Quest 3. I only play Resonite which has native Linux compatibility so it might be easier for that reason.
Fuck it, UDP all the way. Who cares if the data actually arrives?
I’m a lifelong Windows user and tried Linux many many times but could never wrap my head around it. Recently I installed Nobara and it’s exactly the noob-friendly experience I need. All of my games run flawlessly, even the VR game I play. And everything is just FASTER. I never realized how bloated Windows was until now. I can’t imagine going back to Windows at this point.
I think it would be interesting to tie AI into player-generated content, like in VRchat. Imagine being able to describe a room or environment and have AI immediately build it around you, then you can tweak it. It would be like the Holodeck on Star Trek.
In my state you get a CCW just by walking into the courthouse, no classes needed, so I’m not sure how it works elsewhere.
Just in case, if you’re unfamiliar with firearms most community colleges offer firearm safety courses for cheap or free.
Count me in on Android! Foxes are my spirit animal and I’m a chronically online loser so I’ll be a great beta tester.
Watch local social media to see if anyone reports losing money. If nothing, and you’re trying to set a moral example, donate it to charity.
Friendly reminder that voting to authorize a strike is not the same as striking. Nearly every union contract negotiation involves voting to authorized a strike. It simply means that if an agreement cannot be met by x date, the union has agreed to have the option of striking. It’s very unlikely that a strike will actually occur.
I think it’s interesting that Microsoft is leaning into Windows on Xbox devices. It lends credibility to the rumor that the next Xbox console will run Steam natively.
