Meh, it is what it is. I’ve become desensitized to it so it doesn’t actually bother me that much anymore.
Secretly an opossum.

Yeah. My nightmares have gotten super real. They were generally nonsense when I was a child, though.
However, as an adult?
Wandering down dark corridors with a general, building feeling that I’m being stalked, watched, followed by someone lurking just out of sight in the shadows, tension rising, body tingling, adrenaline spiking, soundless scream, body paralyzed, hissing names hoping someone will hear but no one comes. My flesh melts, my teeth fall out, void fall, abyss calls, never ending, rotten skin, smell of blood, moving slow, can’t run.

Weird childhood obsessions; some were good, some were bad, some became things that defined me as an adult.
A lot of the edutainment games I played as a child. I actually went back and installed them to see what they were like through the eyes of an adult. There were a few that were still fun, but as you might be able to guess, most were pretty shitty.
That said, there have been a few things that ended up being 100% worth revisiting. CRT monitors, for an example, are unironically still kinda awesome. I just wouldn’t replace my main monitors with one.
Mmmm… Spicy fly.
I have an old alienware laptop where you could swap the CPU and GPU on it. It was still trash (the thing died after about 3yrs; idk why I still have it), but it was a cool hidden feature.
Edit: of course, a normal CPU or GPU wouldn’t work in it, you needed one that used a different socket than their desktop equivalents and were significantly more expensive. Still a neat feature though.
Honestly, based genie. Instead of fucking you over by twisting your wish into something negative, he fucks you over by spending time on small details. At least the latter will likely result in something you actually want, whereas the former will probably suck.
A) the game’s rating would skyrocket as it’d almost universally get upgraded to an AO rating or equivalent (not sure if that’s actually something they care about though)
B) while not technically illegal afaik, there are a number of countries that would almost certainly ban the game if it showed children being killed. My understanding is that’s why child deaths occasionally show up in movies and TV, but tend to be avoided like the plague in video games.
They’d absolutely exploit it, but the technology necessary to exploit it would likely cause significant advancements that would likely filter back to Earth-side tech. It wouldn’t be the first time, laptops in their current form and cellphone cameras are two examples of tech originally developed for space. On top of that, the moon might not be as big as earth, but it’s still pretty big. It’d likely take a fair amount of effort to put a noticable dent in it.
That’s only true if you don’t look under the covers.
Spoilers: there’s a furry orgy hiding beneath.
I find it really amusing that furries are probably the most unique American subculture, yet we get shunned by most Americans. Go figure lmao.
shrug Idk if it’s really that insane. Tbh I’m not convinced the hype isn’t being manufactured. I have a cousin who’s a pretty bog standard, flavor-of-the-month gamer, and he’s said nothing about GTA VI.
Not saying you’re necessarily wrong, I guess, just that something seems off.
No, I’m honestly surprised. I’ve barely heard anything about GTA VI. Seriously. I don’t care about it, none of my friends have talked about it despite being the kinda game that they’d be into, and I’ve only seen one or two articles on it.
You sure it’s that highly anticipated? My observation is that people have gotten really sick and tired of AAA games, and this is a shift that’s occurred since RDR2 came out. Very few of the people I know still regularly play AAA games, and those who do almost never buy them on launch. I haven’t seen anywhere near the same amount of hype for GTA VI as I saw for GTA IV or GTA V.
You’re accusing me of being disingenuous? Maybe you’re the one who’s buying into the hype and overestimating public interest. Or perhaps the true answer is somewhere in the middle. Who knows. I was not intentionally downplaying your favorite series though.
Wait, do people still get excited for GTA? I thought GTA V online killed a lot of goodwill for the series.
The number one thing I’ve been missing are Spotify jams. Spotify also has a wider selection of music, but tbh it’s rare for Spotify to have something that Qobuz doesn’t. Spotify also has lyrics, playlist folders, and audiobooks; though tbh I haven’t checked to see if Qobuz has the latter.
I love Qobuz. Also for those of you trying to boycott US goods, it’s a French company. I just wish it had the same adoption and features as Spotify.
I mean, they could introduce a new character who takes shelter in a mysterious, dilapidated research facility during the 7 hour war and finds themselves in a hellish labyrinth of puzzles. Maybe said character finds Chell in the field and helps release her (there’s some speculation Chell never made it out, but was actually in some kind of biosphere based on some in-game hints).
Is this where they get the estradiol from?
…are you literally wanting plain colored t-shirts? I mean, those exist, but… They have other shirts that don’t say “Hyena Agenda” on them.
You know you don’t have to be a furry to buy furry stuff, ye? It’s not like anyone’s checking for a “furcard” or anything.
Besides: for those of y’all boycotting US goods, Nomad Complex is Canadian. It actually sucks for those of us in the US because afaik, Nomad Complex has stated that they’re not attending US furcons anymore. They’ve apparently had issues with immigration and customs prior to Trump, and they’ve decided (and for good reason) not to enter the US for the foreseeable future.
God, I love this comic. Thank you for A) making me aware that it got a continuation and B) compiling it into an easier-to-read format.
It makes the opossum in me very happy.
Heh, thanks! I actually really enjoy metal so it’s kinda nice to know that I can write sick metal lyrics; just wish I had more music skills though.
