Oh great, another Borg drone, let me guess resistance is futile?
From what I’ve heard it was taken from a local restaurant.
Do you know whether it works on proton and or do you intend to make a Linux build? I’ll probably test it if I remember find the time next week.
is not an emulator
Those examples are abbreviations, not acronyms. Acronyms use initial letters (though people have gotten lazy with that to get nice sounding acronyms), whereas abbreviations are a category containing shortened words and also acronyms.
I would also like to note that the ‘poli’ in ‘poli sci’ is way too close to the prefix ‘poly’ to not cause confusion. This is just one example of an abbreviation causing confusion among those not yet aware of the meaning. That’s why when addressing a general audience I avoid them or in longer conversations introduce them first.
Thank you, I was wondering what the little red cuboid in panel 3 was :)
I’ve put wrappers in my pocket on numerous occasions and lost them over the course of the next hour (usually depends on which clothes/pockets) so that might be part of what causes there to be so much litter but I have never intentionally thrown anything into nature besides a banana peel when I was a child. Throwing the banana peel into nature felt wrong but probably still is better than having walked a couple of hours with it to reach a mixed bin where it would rot and then maybe be burned.
It not a tiling wm by default :(
Noooo, I still had a bit of Windows in January. My year is ruined!
I haven’t seen that here yet but I don’t dicuss those things much so maybe that’s why.
I assume they updated the game with an advert banner for the sequel in game if you’re curious why it’s an update and not announcement.
I crank up the graphics settings as high as I can get them while getting at least 20fps consistently. I do think some games are just badly optimized though.
I also liked the original state of Minecraft dungeons and even got the first DLC when it was on sale but then they turned it into a grindy season based thing with subscriptions, yet another program ruined by Microsoft.
Apart from this I don’t really have any strong opinions about games and don’t really get why people behave like that.
It wasn’t. I thought it would be a sort of horror game based on the title. I’m slightly curious about how a game about/named after a coffee machine turns into that but I’m okay not knowing.
I did it for about three months while I was getting used to Linux and I have a machine that I share with a Windows user so dual boot is necessary and for a while I was gaming on Windows and coding on Linux which was on an HDD but we got an NVMe SSD and now Linux is on there so gaming is no problem.
Didn’t know this was visible yet. Mine should be a full (Linux) circle this year.
Low level coding and free open source software for me mostly.
I’ve met some people who like to map areas on OpenStreetMap and I’d be interested in trying it myself but like with contributing to anything I’m new to I’m scared of doing something wrong. I understand that with OpenStreetMap there’s a sort of discussion of changes like on Wikipedia?
When you started what resources helped you, did a friend show you? Is there a tutorial you recommend for starting off? (If you explained some of this somewhere else please feel free to link to it or tell me, I haven’t read through all the comments here yet.)
Why would it be? The only actual reference to violence is the fact that it happened (“[…] faced it with such brutal honesty.”) and the reasoning behind it.
Opening the first link on my phone redirected me to a mobile site in an rtl language (hebrew?) 🤣
I think the best part about it is that it even has a /en
in the original url.
When did they even come out?
