Fun facts about Filipino prisons:
- Some facilities are 400-500% over capacity. This means people sleep in shifts, on floors, in hallways.
- Access to clean drinking water, sufficient food, and basic necessities like soap and toothpaste can be limited. Families often bring those in prison basic supplies and even give them money to rent a real bad.
