Haha, sadly not.

I used it in the middle of (light) bavarian forest, and it worked quite well. It had some misdetections, but overall it worked to identify all birds I could hear. Don’t know how well it works in the middle of a city, or in other parts of the world.

But if you remind me in about four weeks, I can give a review of how it worked out in southeast asia.

This has to be the quickest event I’ve had so far. The super clue (30 points) and the bonus bounty (100 points) are so overkill during the double point-weekends.

I don’t think it’s negative, as it helps players who don’t play Hunt 24/7 :-)

Tried it with 3.7.0, but somehow the app stopped working, and I’ve continued using Ultrasonic, but will give Tempo another try, as soon as 3.8.0 is available on F-Droid. Liked the Tempo-UI more, than Ultrasonic’s.

I have an HDD with… I think 4 TB laying around. What would be the best option? To just plug it into the server and leave it there?

Community-driven projects like Skywind are barring themselves from helping hands, they desperately need, by using proprietary, privacy-threatening software as their way of communication.

Basically, but as the area grews tinier, it gets easier to pinpoint, depending on original area-size.

Sometimes you can make quite the educated guess, and some other (rare) times it is quite random.

You’ll get a feel for it after 500 hours.

Adding to this: I’d wish for clues to be more “cluelike”. Like, they could feature a picture from the compound the boss is in, but not giving too much away from the start. Only the third clue could clearly depict where the boss is located at.

It isn’t that simple anymore. In my opinion, it is easier to predict on maps with two bosses, than on single boss maps. But they patched out the more predictable patterns.

What you think of is restoring frequencies, this is possible, and commonly used in plugins for audio restaurization. I might be mistaken, but this does not improve the bitrate, but the perceived quality (which is still lossy).

I don’t think that there is a real interest to upscale quality (not perceived quality), especially for longer (> 1 minute) material.

Like @NaN mentioned: Some apps detect, that they’re not running on a licensed OS and block some or all functionality.

I’m not using any payment apps, as I’m trying to mostly pay in cash or by card. Only using NFC for my passport.

I’m not using it for anything like that, mostly for using my passport for digital services.

I’m on GrapheneOS since a few years now, started out with a second-hand Pixel 3A, moved to a Pixel 6, and am now on a Pixel 8 Pro.

GrapheneOS works great for my needs, and the sandboxed Google Play feature comes in handy if you really need to use an infested app, on another profile.

NFC works for me though, without an issue.

Great project, the first two albums were great.

Yeah, it has its flaws, yet it is still under development. I’m not sure what to think of the idea of renaming the game though, Fruity Game is such a wonderful name!
