I just watched an interview of Karen Hao and she mentioned something along the lines of executives being oversold AI as something to replace everyone instead of something that should exist alongside people to help them, and they believe it.
Are are we applying butterfly effect mechanics here? If yes, the farthest I’ll probably go is the previous 24 hours to have the least impact on the things I don’t want to lose/change. Then I’ll probably bet on the lottery.
It does happen in some third world countries. Not sure for LA though.

Not really big or anything, but almost 20 years ago it was my first time visiting Vegas from across the world to attend a conference. I had a very limited travel budget and was carrying three $100 bills as my allowance provided by my employer.
