Bazzite is good for a console experience or for something like a kid gamer PC.
Everything Bazzite does is perfectly possible on other Linux distros.

I am a programmer too. I absolutely loved it. I finally took a shot and changed my hobby into a stable good-paying job with a car, laptop, phone, whatever.
I quit a few years later. Almost exclusively because of the project managers. I was mentally exhausted because of the daily 8 hours of stress they gave me. I wasn’t able to look at code for around 8 months.
I’m working on getting my drivers license back and am thinking of getting into package delivery. I have also been working on opensource projects and have actually been enjoying it again.
“Who’s a cute little pedophile?”
Toxic people that would never have had a platform for their bullshit have suddenly gained that ability in just 20 years time because of the internet. People that would normally receive a lot of fists in their face, do not anymore. The digital world is such a new thing that it’s completely unnatural for us to live with and it affects our perspectives and social lives. It simply goes way too fast for evolution to catch up to.
Without good care, it creates people that are completely delusional and deranged. Filter bubbles also add up to the problem. One that consumes content will be served more similar content, creating and feeding a very limited perspective. Because everything in the digital world is so new, there have been almost no studies in how it affects us and how it should be remedied.
Sounds like refactoring.
PMs should take notice.
Emotions not so much.
Morals on the other hand, definitely.
To add to this;
Playing modern Windows games on Linux and SteamOS is done using Wine and Proton. Wine is available on almost every Linux distro and Proton comes* with Steam.
*You can use Proton outside of Steam but it’s quite hacky and not really needed.
Yeah it’s pretty crazy how addictive it is.
Sad thing is not many people listen to drug users. Even though drug users are… the ones that have actual experience in addictiveness.
I’ve done a lot of different drugs, and I’d rank the addictiveness of social media between flakka and crack. (I have not done heroine or fenta)
So yeah, good job USA. /s
I wasn’t clear. I was referring to the ease of which you can verify that the hardware does what it is supposed to do. If you can verify it easily, but don’t, the ease has no meaning.
I don’t think you understand how electronics work. Maybe if you have an ugly plastic see trough toggle, but I don’t see that happening any time soon.
I also don’t understand why you are asking me questions because you’ve failed to explain something, as in some ploy to make me the bad guy here.
So… Do you verify all/most of your hardware toggles? Personally?
:') You’re a joke.
And no, I don’t use software toggles. I don’t use any toggles on my phone, except Bluetooth to save battery. 🤷♂️ You guessed wrong. Maybe don’t be so smug about trying to “read” someone. It ends up being super cringe when it’s wrong. 🫣
I explicitly used the word ‘guess’ to not be smug. As in, the following part is merely a guess. But hey, you can keep making it personal, but it just shows who is “cringe” here.
Now get blocked.
I ask because the ease of which something can be done is worthless if nobody does it.
How would a lack of people using hardware toggles even make it worthless? I don’t need that answered. It doesn’t.
I am guessing you use a software toggle and are trying to defend your use of it. Which shouldn’t be directed towards me. You trust it? That’s great. I’m glad for you. I explicitly said I only trust hardware toggles and explained why I wouldn’t easily trust a software one. What I do is of no concern to you.
So next time just share your opinion instead of asking a question you don’t need answered. Which I obviously noticed. Don’t beat around the bush and just cut to the chase.
Weird question. A better question would be how hard it is to check. It’s pretty easy. It only requires a multimeter and basic knowledge of electronics. Opening a phone isn’t hard either. You can easily use a clothes iron with a rag in front of it.
Imagine having this kind of power but also the perspective of a 12 year old.
Although chances of code being available are quite low for most mobile devices, not to mention software takes many many hours longer and you’ll have to make sure your build matches the code (which means manually checking the code of every update).
You mean a hardware toggle? Because those can be double checked with some electronic knowledge.
I guess a software based toggle is ok for downloaded third party apps on the phone. Just not anything by Google.
And no I am only saying what I trust. I sadly have no toggle. Making an actual hardware toggle outside of the factory line is pretty hard. But disabling them on your device is pretty easy. You can easily make your USB port power only, unplug your camera and destroy the mic.
If you use Graphene on the Pixel however, I think you’d be safe from anything Google to be honest.
I moved from TransIP to Hetzner. TransIP started costing me more than €40 for 2vCPU + 4GB RAM + 1.25TB extra storage. While this same product only cost me €23 years ago. So I decided to move to Hetzner because I could get a 2vCPU + 8GB + 1TB extra storage for only €21. Plus it also allows Tor bridge nodes, which was a must for me. After doing benchmarks to see if the Hetzner server wasn’t shit, I came to the conclusion that it was almost 5 times faster. Awesome. I don’t have too much experience with them yet, but on first glance I’m very happy.
Regarding software, I run Docker containers with different software. But the main service I’m running is a self made PHP website/webapp. I also use Grav for a blog, but I’m not too happy with it because I think it’s convoluted.
Wouldn’t be surprised tbh.
In Belgium you can only buy 10ml bottles of juice with nicotine. The 50ml bottles require a booster and come in 60ml bottles so you can add the booster yourself.
There’s some very weird rules.
Jagex asks membership money per character.
WoW is cheaper and even gives you 60+ character slots.
