I realize this is a broad question, but I’d be interested in personal anecdotes. Are they even common? (Obviously varies by county and region)

    I’d say they are quite rare, I’ve only been to one once. I won’t be going back. I’m not even sure if it was a bad restaurant or if I just don’t like mexican food. But it was bad.
