You live in a decaying empire on a planet with finite resources and a collapsing environment. You’re focusing on the forest, they’re focusing on the trees, and it’s all so nobody has to notice that it’s all on fire.

At this point it’s needed. The Republicans have been doing this for YEARS now. YEARS. It gets them votes. All the democrats are doing is finally fighting back on their playing field. It looks petty, but it needs to happen. Democrats are finally, FINALLY showing they have a backbone and won’t tolerate the bullying.

    They started it!

Yeah, normally I hate the petty BS name calling and making things up: aren’t politicians supposed to be adults? However Trump excels at this and somehow gets votes, as do many of the leading Republicans over the last few elections. It appears to work, sad to say. I’m fine with Harris/Walz stooping to their level since it seems necessary, as long as they remain connected to reality and do also talk about policy. Sad to say it was needed and it works

The whole thing about the weird old guy and jokes about sofas is pure bullying and I wish we were better than that, but it hasn’t been working to “turn the other cheek “ when the weird old guy is bullying you. We have direct and immediate evidence that we needed this

No offense - but have you been living under a rock? American politics has always been absolute dogshit, and started an especially downward spiral in 2016 during Trump’s first election.

Get the fuck off social media. It’s literally cancer. You’ll be better off without it. I deleted my Facebook account years ago and I i got an immediate boost to my mental health. I suggest you do the same.

It’s people who have nothing intelligent to say that resort to petty insults.

The problem is those people with nothing intelligent to say keep repeating it over and over, until some segments of voters believe all sorts of made up stuff. If dishing the BS back to them is the only way to get the attention of almost half the population, then yeah (as long as we stick to truth, to reality, and do actually have policies)
