At this point it’s needed. The Republicans have been doing this for YEARS now. YEARS. It gets them votes. All the democrats are doing is finally fighting back on their playing field. Yeah, normally I hate the petty BS name calling and making things up: aren’t politicians supposed to be adults? However Trump excels at this and somehow gets votes, as do many of the leading Republicans over the last few elections. It appears to work, sad to say. I’m fine with Harris/Walz stooping to their level since it seems necessary, as long as they remain connected to reality and do also talk about policy. Sad to say it was needed and it works
