Of course iOS is very different from Android but it’s not like they’d have to do complete port. And it targets the same architecture that’s in macs and they have builds for it obviously.

Currently Firefox on iOS is “just” a skin around the iOS provided renderer.
Gecko, the browser engine?
GeckoView more specifically in this case. But yes.
