minus-squarecobysev@lemmy.worldlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 month agoI tried Warhammer 40K once, but I got the cold shoulder when I mentioned I didn’t have any minis to play with. They also took 3 sessions to finish pursuing a suspicious character across an alley. I nope’d out of the group after that.
minus-squareiAmTheTot@sh.itjust.workslinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up2·edit-21 month agoI would strongly suggest trying out something that is not so “crunchy”. FATE, Without Numbers, Powered by the Apocalypse are all game engines that may appeal to you and generally emphasize faster pace gameplay/narratives. Daggerheart is good at this as well. I also recommend Fabula Ultima, but it’s less appealing if you don’t like anime or jrpgs in my opinion. If you are open to playing a game online with webcams, I could try to run something for you but no promises.
