Well yeah, they said that last year.
People are also confusing supporting with works. I’m running Win 11 on non-TPM hardware now and have been for 2 years. No jank, just straight up works like you’d expect.
what they’re reiterating here is that they absolutely won’t back down (from the requirement) regardless of how many people beg them to.
the loophole still works… doesn’t mean it will keep working next year or the year after.
That’s fair. Given their history though I think that chance is slim. I mean, there’s still Windows 1/3 icons still in the OS. One of them is the MSDOS icon … not too worried. And if they do enforce it without a “hack” I’ll move to Linux like I probably should already.
Windows 10 IOT LTSC is the way to go for people who don’t want to use Linux.
