Destiny 2’s player count is reaching an all-time low, with matchmaking becoming increasingly difficult for raids, dungeons, and other activities.

I love the core game play loop so, I went back to it in May. It really hurt not being able to do my favorite activities. I think I play one month out of every year. Why can’t someone make a good game with these mechanics?

Yup. I went from playing daily, a couple hours a day, to 0 overnight. Way to go Bungo!

I went back only twice, first to see what it was like on Steam Deck and second after getting a gaming PC.

Less than an hour each time.

Ran Windows on the Steam Deck. Set up an external USB-C SSD.
