I’m actually very curious about that. On Linux, my frame pacing is much smoother and more stable than on Windows using my Nvidia card, but frame generation is significantly worse with more stutters and wild variations, probably due to the “Nvidia Reflex” implementation on Linux not being nearly as good.

But the RTX 5000 series is got hardware specifically meant to smooth out frame pacing when using MFG. Could that perhaps deliver smooth frame generation on Linux? If so, games are about to feel way better than before.

As a side note, Nvidia’s drivers on Linux have been unable to allocate RAM as VRAM when necessary for a few versions now. Hopefully that’s finally getting fixed too.
