I have serious permanent damage to my vision in one eye because the insurance company would not approve the medication my doctor chose. Now, years later, I am on that initial medication my doctor chose and it works great. I spent a couple years trying two other medications first and they were horrible.
Could have gone to people in medical debt because of insurance companies because, you know, he’s from a wealthy family and doesn’t need money…
He saved blue cross patients far more on surgical anesthesia by now.
