To be clear, the law says marriage certificates can’t be given to anyone under 18. Parental concent does not matter. Unless I missed something in the bill
So much for my plan to move to Maine to marry a 16-year-old. This is why we can’t have nice things.
While Maine’s off the list, there are 36 other states where you still can. :(
