    Honestly, if you have to ask so broadly you shouldn’t. Chances are good you make a fatal mistake and your server starts harassing other servers or giving out CSAM.

    Then again, given your username, follow the docker tutorial in the Lemmy documentation.

        I mean in general. Having a server connected to the internet is always a risk. Doesn’t have to be Lemmy that’s exploited.

        And if they have an open registration it’s still their servee that can be used to distribute images unchecked.

        Start as in developing or as in hosting?

        You’re asking in a community called devs, implying you want to develop, but it seems like you want to only host?
