I appreciate the masks.
I do too, though black Korean KN-95 masks look a lot gothy-er!
Those are definitely the ones to bring to a goth event.
(Edit: The Korean ones are kf-94 fwiw.)
The Korean ones are kf-94 fwiw.
Ah! You are correct!
They’re more comfortable than the US N95 masks too. We’ve been using KN95 masks since the start of the pandemic. So far, so good!
I have completely forgotten about this comic, and I don’t know why. I remember reading all of it like 15 (ish?) years ago or so. I can’t even remember how I found it or when exactly it was, but it was part of my feed back when “Google Reader” was still a thing. I do remember Obby had entered your life though, when I stopped reading. But I don’t think I consciously stopped, I had just forgotten to continue to read?
In any case, thanks for the reminder Jennie, I’ll go catch up now. So I’ll be a little while.
Why are they wearing masks? It says 2023 on it.
Fortunately, the Coronavirus completely vanished once Biden was elected president. One of the few campaign promises he kept.
This was at Dragon Con in September.
Jen didn’t want to bring home Con Crud to her two daughters and end up introducing Con Crud into the daycare.
from earlier army and student slang for venereal disease (“sexually transmitted disease”).
She didn’t want to bring home venereal disease and give it to her daughters?
Well, that’s good, I guess.
(fandom slang) An illness resulting from having people from a wide variety of places at a single gathering such as a convention, allowing disease to spread easily among them due to lack of immunity
Or if you had clicked just one more blue link in that article and checked out the actual definition of “crud,” you’d see that VD is only the long-sense-deprecated seventh definition. Today, it’s mainly used as a synonym for dirt, muck, disease, or other unclean gunk you might encounter out in the wild.
It’s just a lame joke bruh

Fair one. I deleted the comment almost immediately because it wasn’t a good thing to have said.
