Pixel Launcher will soon allow you to choose the default web 'Search engine'.
The app build that comes with Android 14 QPR2 Beta 3 contains a hidden search settings item called "Search Engine". This feature will allow you to choose an app for the web search.

It’s lighter as I get to decide what to keep, no loss of functionality as I can still install the Pixel apps from the Play Store if I want to (but with the advantage of added security from GrapheneOS as I can disable their network access among other things), except for Google Pay NFC payments which don’t work for now. does split screen work with custom launchers in Graphene OS? I use Neo Launcher on my Pixel (stock) and split screen doesn’t work at all.
I just tried Neo Launcher and set it as the default one and split screen seems to work fine.
