“It doesn’t do any good to have a law on the books and then voters say, ‘Well, we don’t like that law,’ and have it be overridden by a law that doesn’t really fit Ohio.”
What a wild sentence.
What does it mean for a law to “fit Ohio” then?
How could the law possibly not fit Ohio if the majority of voters approve of that law?
They aren’t too happy about people actually showing up for that August thing, so you better keep voting if you want to keep having rights.
We have to defend our rights as relentlessly as they attack them.
