Ah, I didn’t catch that. I would like to think they’d only add things with a good purpose, e.g. better early game experience.

The golden ball thingy in the bottle village? That’s this floating “cage pyramid” where you can go up with a swing like elevator. I’m lacking the words to describe it better.
It seem I forgot most of Ghens world tho.
If that was in the original game (which I did play it a couple of times) I absolutely don’t remember it.
You’re right of course about the limits of the point and click and forced view nature of the game. A lot is hidden / cannot be explored as thoroughly.
It looks pretty right to me. I’ll probably pick it up (after already having the original and the steam version).
There seem to be some changes / additions to the original game? For example I don’t remember the house/dome thing on the giant tree stump (~30s) or the tree (at the end of the trailer).
Double edged sword, but yeah.
Acquisitions don’t need to pay for themselves. Ideally they do, but sometimes it’s enough if they just help the company’s main business stay in business, or grow.
IBM is making $30bn+ in gross profit each year.
It would be possible to argue about all of them, as each has genuine use cases. Just not to the extend they were praised during the hype.
I understand the decision, but for me it’s a problem. I want to play it, but after all those years I really long for more variety.
As a middle way they could make new industries optional. Or release them as recommended NewGRFs like they did with some of the graphics, audio and such in the past.
Do they still not add new industries to the base game? I played this game a lot - like A LOT. But the amount of base game industries are really sad to look at, and there’s not that many of expansions either. So you end up playing FIRS industries all the time.
A close relative of mine is working for a joint venture (between a medium sized European airline and LG) which tries to get into this market. Just had their first plane outfitted with their screens and software, and is now operational (sort of, they almost didn’t get approval).
In all seriousness it could be such a cool and interesting project. But general incompetency, finger pointing, internal power plays, and management neglect make it just as bad as you imagine already.
You too can easily trick these shitty little towns out of their ticket farming money. Just follow the rules like everyone else.
10/10 people who feel the need to say that the rules are for others are exactly the kind of people the rules are for.
Thanks. But no thanks for the downvotes. When asking to be questioned, expect to be questioned.
And mob-rule is not a just a term invented by the liberals. But because a group of vigilantes took matters into their own hands - by arming themselves.
Right now the exploit is not fully understood.
How so, btw? The original maintainer and everyone else can read the changed code, so how can it not be fully understood? Is it that heavily obfuscated, or…?
The defense of the revolutionary government will be organized on the basis of the armed, organized working class. All foreign military bases will be closed immediately.
I have no idea how that would be considered progress. The population of the USA is armed to the teeth already. Giving the same people the role of the defender of the government sound a lot like self-justice or mob-rule.
Social media fatigue is slowly getting traction. I don’t have an article or study at hand to back it up, but I read about it the other day. Especially in younger generations it’s a trend already.
Also, but that’s only my personal theorie, i think it’s a trend only among the less-hateful people. Hateful people nonstop spewing their vile messages everywhere is making “normal” people leave, which then turns off even more “normal” people.
The enraged slowly turning (unmoderated) social media into one big echo chamber.
What’s the questions-to-answers ratio to make it acceptable to write “CEO here” in a topic, in your opinion?
How much and what would he need to post so damage control would have been done (and successfull) in your eyes?
Just asking in case I become a CEO and see someone having a solvable issue with my company’s sercice.
Correct, it’s outside the realm of possibility. Because I’m not. Your desire to label everything a genocide apologist doesn’t make it true. But apparently that’s outside of your realm of possibility?
I oppose senseless violence. Attacking a cargo ship with absolutely no connection to Israel other than being registered by British company is pretty senseless - because it achieves absolutely nothing.
You know this only works if you posted a question first, which you haven’t, right?
But I do see a pattern. Everyone who is not in line with your simplistic world view is being accused of being in support of the genocide. Maybe you should learn how to differentiate.
The answer you were looking for is “no, belonging does not equal supporting”.
Not going to happen. Nobody can afford promo trolling because then people are simply not going. Word to mouth propaganda doesn’t bring the masses needed to pay the bills nowadays.
