Huge -> literally nothing will change, even for die-hard half life fans.
Same thing happened for the whole Bioshock series. They rolled out the update just over 2 weeks after a big sale so it was beyond the standard refund policy too.
Lazy CEOs just don’t want to work anymore!
If you read a little further, it was even invented by a comic artist.
We’re on the verge of getting comprehensive PC-style graphics settings in consoles. They made a $700 console because they’re realizing there’s a wealthier demographic out there that buys more games anyways. The whole point of buying a console over a PC is that you get a solid guarantee games will run well.
The spice must flow
Don’t forget that the data bandwidth is so low it can’t play higher quality mp3s.
Can’t you press volume up to act as a shutter button? That was a feature as old as thr iPhone 4, maybe older.
When I read the post title, I figured it was gonna be some joke youtuber fan-made trailer cuz no studio would be that dumb.
That was very much the intended message of that scene, I’m glad you understood it, but it seems like you ignored the rest of the movie by focusing on that and definitely never watched the sequel where he worked through a lot of that stuff.
Blowing smoke directly into your friend’s sensor to ge them in trouble.
Or ya know, vaping in the hall where you don’t have your own personal sensor and you’ll be back in class by the time any sensor goes off.
I can’t even remember the last time I saw an open world game where thr main character instantly drowns in water.
Future chips not affected by THIS cpu bug.
It’s always GPUs. Crypto boom? GPUs. AI boom? GPUs. PC gaming boom? GPUs. GPUs are so difficult to program effectively that we still probably haven’t discovered things they’re capable of doing yet. The next major breakthrough in tech, whatever it is, will cause a massive explosion in GPU demand.
My money’s on it being a pomegranate originally. Apples wouldn’t have existed in the fertile crescent over 2000 years ago. Pomegranates are also messy and look bloody when eating them, fitting the “carnal knowledge” side of the story. I’ve heard other people suggest they could have been dates, but pomegranates seem like a way better fit for the story.
Same. Recently bought a house, rates are very high, but I can live with it. I’ve literally never been happier than I am now, no matter how many weekends I spend completely drained repairing some random thing.
A lot of mathematicians made fun of imaginary numbers when they were first proposed. In fact, the name “imaginary numbers” was actually given by skeptics to make fun of it. It kinda makes sense, imaginary numbers are all based off of a couple fairly strange assumptions, but they make otherwise difficult problems solvable.
The whole thing kinda ruined math though. Nowadays, mathematicians spend their entire careers building frameworks based on silly assumptions in the hopes that one day it’ll be useful.
More impressive than the fact that you saved a repo once is that the same repo still exists today with the complete git history. At the rate companies abandon products for new ones, old repos are rare.
This is why you should release everywhere immediately. If your game is shit, no one will buy it on your second release to Steam/PC/whatever you withheld from. Companies love shooting themselves in the foot.
