Series X is amazing hardware wise, but since they keep releasing games without physical copies, I haven’t turned mine on and likely won’t for some time. The console also doesn’t really work right without internet connection. As in, it is literally impossible to set up an Xbox without internet. It’s also literally impossible to install any games without internet, which is fucking bonkers.
Is that guys name actually Pony Ma?
Now, my mandarin is very bad, but Ma means horse, among other things. So is this guys name horse small horse?
Edit: his Chinese name is 马化腾. Mǎ Huàténg. So his family name is indeed horse, but Pony isn’t his name, just a nickname.
Agreed with everything you say, and I don’t have any solutions you haven’t said. I would like to add, buy your nephews, cousins, kids, students, etc physical games. Buy them the games they want, too, not just the ones that you think they should have. Get them used to going to the store to look at games and game boxes. Take them to the retro game store and let them pick something out. Encourage gaming to be more than passive consumption, and try to instill more positive associations with ownership. Avoid lecturing, or trying to create negative associations with digital or subscription products, and just help them share in your passion, it’ll take you a long way.
The videos on the ps store are really high quality, I would definitely call them gorgeous. I have no interest in this game, but I’ll probably pick it up on sale to let my little brothers play in a year or two.
Do you think titles like that are a result of a severely myopic mind, unable to even comprehend why a corporation would willingly do something that their users dislike, or just clickbait?
I can’t get physical copies new of just about any game made before the late 00s.
