Yknow somehow I had a great time reading. Written word is the most reliable way to stabilize visuals in my mind, which is why I’ve taken to writing as a creative outlet as well.

Its been so long since I’ve genuinely read anything but I think thats the closest I ever got to actually visualizing something. Described well enough and my mind can really conjure up an image for once.

Its why I tend to like slow and detailed scenes. I can spend a lot of time writing a scene that only lasts eight minutes

I’ve got aphantasia and honestly the comic kinda reminds me of how I feel ‘left out’ but I also spent most of my life trying to draw and only found out about the term a few years ago making me realize I spent so much time following a dead end. that’s just a me thing tho

the difference here is that a ton of other creature collector games have done something similar when it comes to summoning them. Coromon is the first one thst pops up in my head.

what makes palworld different? it genuinely sold well, enough to challenge Nintendo and it’s monopoly with their Pokémon games. Which they barely put any effort in nowadays because they sell regardless because of brand loyalty

it’s even more stupid because that’s not how the mount works in Pokémon anyway

which is completely acceptable because I was very easily scared. For example Darth Maul and the dementors from Harry potter made me condemn the series because I was terrified of every seeing them again

honestly, this is something I needed to hear. my family has been pretty anti-credit (dad was bad with money) and my own hatred for the system grew once I started working at a retail chain. to know this is just another part of the fucked up system kinda gives me hope I can either escape it or dismantle it

as a Rhythm Game Enjoyer I always gotta recommend Cytus. There are paid songs but the base game has over 100, each with at least three difficulties :3

tho even if you like rhythm games I definitely recommend looking up the game first because I have yet to ever properly convince my other rhythm game-loving friends to genuinely play cytus. Still it is one of my all time favorite games

I hope they never try this 3-way team thing again. Made Splatfests feel so unfair. Especially with the arbitrary point system they used for calculating things. Kind just felt like they slapped whatever number they wanted to on a category and called it a day.

Last night I took a look at the (US) Splatfests for both 2 and 3. In 2, our of the 25 fests I partook in, my team won 14 teams. Pearl and Marina had an even 15 wins between all the fests.

in 3, I only participated in 16 fests, and my team won 3 times. Not only that, but Shiver’s team won 9 fests, Big Man won 7 and Frye a whopping 3. The balancing in this game felt fucking atrocious and I feel like that killed a lot of my motivation to play.

Now ofc Nintendo can’t really predict what team is gonna win when they make choices, but whatever changes they made to the point system did jack all in fairness in my opinion.

I think I’m just gonna go back to splatoon 2 after this

I’d recommend Beyond Light and Lightfall just for the subclasses alone. BL also has the added bonus of having decent story. I vehemently hate LF so the only thing I have to vouch for it is funny green powers.

You should keep at least one character I think. Sometimes you get different dialogue for having a ‘veteran’ character based on your achievements! idk how often they do it anymore but I always found that lol flair pretty neat

I’m a weird Hunter who ignores the meta in most cases. My favorite exotics are Liar’s Handshake (Knife Hands), Gyrfalcons, Caliban’s Hand and Orpheus Rig. I tend to just build around their gimmick without much thought. Hands down my favorite exotic weapon would be Witherhoard (affectionately nicknamed Coom Cannon). It’s a great ad clear and decent fire and forget boss dps. Use it all the time in content I have to try in.

Uhm I’d also say at least start Witch Queen because that should unlock weapon crafting which should be pretty fun! Not every weapon is craftable but there’s still a lot compared to launch.

All in all, I’d recommend at least going through the campaigns. There’s a lot of content in those years that you’ve missed out on, and that should give you enough time to mull on the idea of sticking around or not :3
