Use Aegis on android or 2FAS on iOS. And just backup your seed on hdd/usb stick. Dont upload on cloud.
I say you just got unlucky with your card. So i get why you are disappointed with AMD. What brand you had? Just keep in mind many had/have same problems with Nvidia gpus. I was one of them.
Hope new card will serve you better.

I have 3 keys. One is for regular use at home, second is with me on the go and third as a backup.
