DudeImMacGyver@kbin.earthto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Have you ever quit a job because you just can't stand your coworkers?1·1 个月前The last bad one I had is the reason I left that job. My managers after that were promoted and thankfully replaced with good to great managers.

I’d be furious for multiple reasons though I am monogamous, but it kinda sounds like you’re OK with having an open relationship based on what you’re describing. That or you’re in shock or maybe depressed?
Even if you’re cool with having an open relationship, it does sound like your communication as a couple needs some work.
Yup, I’m pretty skeptical but sometimes I do only after investigating them to make sure it’s not another bullshit scam like Autism Speaks or Susan G Komen that say they’re rAiSiNg aWaReNeSs but really they’re just a vehicle to make their executives richer and either don’t help (Komen) or even manage to actively make things worse (Autism Speaks).
DudeImMacGyver@kbin.earthto Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Is there is a website where unpaid people themselves report on tech news?1·3 个月前Forums themselves are the answer IMO, there’s plenty of posts in tech specific places where people who are not paid journalists are posting their takes and even full on stories. They are often paid professionals in that they work a tech job, but they aren’t necessarily journalists, they’re just regular posters.

It can vary, but there are multiple licenses at the enterprise level with varying agreements and costs. Not just the OS for your server, but software, services, end user devices, and other random things that most folks never think about because they don’t have to.
In some cases FOSS can take a big chunk out of those costs or even eliminate them entirely if you have good staff that knows their stuff and your business doesn’t need or can make it’s own niche software/systems. If you build it in-house, you have to support and maintain it but it’s still often cheaper than many paid solutions.
That or competent in house staff, but either are better options.
Licensing and also more licensing!
Beats the hell out of paying Microsoft so you can keep running your business.
DudeImMacGyver@kbin.earthto Unpopular Opinion@lemmy.world•You need to radically accept yourself and your own failings31·3 个月前As long as you accept responsibility for your actions, sure.
edit: lmao at the downvote, if you don’t accept responsibility for your actions, you are a grade A asshole. Be better than that.

DudeImMacGyver@kbin.earthto Reddit@lemmy.world•I've had three accounts suspended or exiled from Reddit recently. I posted a link to this piece on the open web and lost another account.281·3 个月前Cancelling of people? WTF is that even supposed to mean?
If you act like a piece of shit, that’s gonna have repercussions because people don’t like people who are shitty. That’s not cancel culture, that’s just the consequences of your actions.
As for censorship, if you don’t like how an instance is run, go start your own, with blackjack, and hookers!
On Mbin? You just post the link to wherever, there’s no button to do it. It will show up after the fact as a “crosspost” of sorts in Mbin though. Mobile clients might be different, I just use the web interface mostly.
