Bazzite is definitely a good choice for a PC that you’ll use like a console. But because it’s an atomic OS (immutable) downloading less popular apps may be a bit annoying. It’s not impossible but just keep that in mind if you ever get frustrated. If an immutable OS isn’t working for you, then id give Nobara OS a try.

It mostly stems from their insistence on using snaps to run apps when other versions are supposedly faster (flatpack).
I think that’s the biggest issue otherwise Ubuntu is fine and I use it on all my VMs.
I laughed when they showed their game chat mode as some accomplishment. They spent years just making discord…
Another funny moment was when the Civ VII dude said something like “if you already have Civ VII you will be able to play the enhanced switch 2 mode!.. After purchasing the upgrade.”
They’re so unapologetically greedy.
He’s using us instead of vomiting all those errors messages into chatgpt to translate it into something more readable.
