6·24 days agoThat’s really interesting. I don’t think spiders teach their offspring, so this must be an evolved trait.
Entrapment is enticing someone to do something they wouldn’t do otherwise.
If you ask someone where to buy drugs, and they give you the name of their dealer, you’re not entrapping the dealer since they normally sell drugs.
If they can cut off Russian rail supply into occupied Ukraine, then a lot. If they can cut off Russian natural gas exports, then a lot. If they’re just there for the sake of being there, then nothing.

That works on at least two levels
I don’t understand why cities still bid on the Olympics. It’s a net revenue loss for them. Maybe Salt Lake City could benefit if they still have infrastructure from their previous games.

I studied engineering after failing high-school algebra, so I was also pretty behind.
Khan Academy is a great resource for everything from elementary algebra to calculus and linear algebra, all of which you’ll use.
Symbolab is great for figuring out tough homework problems.
YouTube is good for certain topics, and some may be able to explain how something applies to comp Sci.
Once you’re in, use office hours. Some places have free peer tutoring. Everywhere has tutors you can pay for.
