I would say that’s an accurate description for a barbie doll that explodes personally.
I’m sure this varies a lot from district to district, but the districts that I have teacher friends in, they’ve been using Chromebooks almost exclusively for the better part of a decade now
The most common explanation I’ve seen, and imo it makes sense, is that things mostly just work now. Even XP required a helluva lot more troubleshooting and messing with stuff to make it work than today. So you not only have a bunch of people that have no troubleshooting experience, a large portion don’t even know how to properly search for things.
On the flip side, you have a lot more people doing insanely impressive stuff at a lot younger ages because if you have the drive to do it, there’s more material to learn than ever out there.
I’m assuming they’re specifically meaning a deal regarding not fixing the scheduler issues
To be completely honest, I’d be more surprised if there wasn’t.
I read it less as them shitting on them and more them making a joke about how things tend to immediately go wrong the second you say anything positive about it.
This is the main reason that I’ll never understand it. It takes so, so, so much energy to be that hateful. Do they have literally nothing in their lives that they could be devoting that energy to. Like get a fucking hobby, holy shit.
As if removing it wouldn’t be an improvement. MBFC themselves admit it’s nothing more than pseudoscience. The fact anyone actually takes it seriously is laughable, especially considering some of the sources they consider “highly factual”
Probably something that still depends on the person. If your problem is irritation, probably not if it’s not a moisturizing soap. If you have issues with it immediately turning into pimples and such, I’m sure cleaning it will greatly help with preventing that.
The need for it varies greatly from person to person. I personally don’t use anything and have never felt a need for it, but I have friends for whom aftershave products (I couldn’t tell you if they’re alcohol based or not) do reduce razor burn and the like.
Congrats you’ve fallen for oil company FUD from the 70s.
In what world is nuclear + renewables not a possibility. Nobody here is wanting nuclear + coal. You sit here and bitch and whine about fallacies while your entire argument relies entirely on a strawman.
Some people really don’t think before they speak do they
People still buying into oil company FUD from the 70s
Of course, which is why I said within reason. As long as you’re making an effort to make your diet varied, I find trying to religiously track macros tends to be fairly counterproductive for most people, as it makes the whole process far more of a pain in the ass.
shrimp and tilapia are fairly cheap
This varies hugely based on location, primarily distance from the ocean. Pound for pound, beef and pork are far cheaper than basically any seafood in my region.
As long as calories in < calories out, the source of those calories matter much less (within reason). You could lose weight eating nothing but oreos and hostess snack cakes as long as calories in < calories out. Not great for you for obvious reasons, not least of which vitamin deficiencies, but you’d lose weight.
As long as you’re not one of those weirdos that insist pull through sharpeners are just as good as properly sharpening it.
Most people don’t need a perfectly sharp knife. Are they nice to have? Absolutely. But as long as you don’t let them get dangerously dull, who cares.
The joke couldn’t have gone further over your head if it had a 3 stage rocket system.
Seriously, I don’t think I’ve seen this kind of blatant “PAY ATTENTION TO ME I’M QUIRKY” behavior since AIM.
