It was last revised under the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1885 where it was raised from 13 to 16… so I would think it probably was designed exactly that way. None of the parliaments in the UK seem to have any intention of raising it.

I only use Google Alerts and it’s absolute trash. You can set it to only give alerts for particular regions and it’s constantly giving me hits from India, USA, and Australia (I’m also in Europe!).

Omg this is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I do a lot of media monitoring for work and have been using MBFC to try to measure how reliable my current Google Alerts are, because it throws up some weird and wild news sources.
