I don’t need the passwords while I’m out and if it is really important it will will have to wait, if it is really really important then I will go home and get it, but in reality it is almost always never really that important.

To your first point, I do this with the Costco gravy, add one salt and two pepper packets into the gravy makes it way better.
To your second point, many times the no name brand or store brand is actually packed by the same company with the same product but you aren’t paying for the brand name marketing so it is cheaper.
Use a pen and paper, no one breaks into your house for your password.
I don’t even write the whole thing down, just enough that I know what the rest is, the missing part is context to me.
Axes, I have four and I will get another next year.
I have a hatchet for small tasks, a midsized axe for cutting small trees down and chopping, a Pulaski for landscaping/ digging tasks and I have a splitting axe/maul for splitting rounds.
There is something incredibly rewarding and fun about swinging an axe.
But don’t worry, there’s false equivalence because in one day Hamas killed a few hundred children so the tens of thousands now are totally justified and will be until none are left. /S
It was meant to be “working up in Whistler” but I didn’t check my voice typing.
EI is what you get when you get laid off in BC. I don’t know if they still call it that anymore.
I was working up in Whistler back in my twenties, at the end of the season, they lay everybody off except for a small crew of full-time employees. I went on to EI(employment insurance) for the summer pretended to look for jobs, and went on road trips with friends. Once summer finished, I found another job and I have unfortunately been employed ever since in various Warehouse jobs from order picker to warehouse manager.
Edit: Added words
Taxes.
What are the tax benefits to getting married if you aren’t having kids?
We are common lawish.
We just moved, can’t do it again. I finally got a house with a sauna.
I’m not really adopting this label. I’ve always been this way. I would always call and plan when I went to people’s houses as a kid. As an adult I would always book at least a week in advance when I wanted to hang out with people. I don’t just pop by, I plan in advance. We don’t have kids, it is just us two humans and two dogs, we like it this way.
My parents and I talk by text every other day and talk around once a week by phone. I think the only difference will be that I will go by once a week instead of the phone call.
I have talked with my parents and they have said they aren’t going to come over unannounced.
I am a private person likely because they are private people and the thought of showing up at someone house without being invited is very much something that never happened growing up. I only kinda accept my best friend doing it and he would still call an hour ahead of time to let me know he was in the area. Now he is a 6 hour drive away so he would probably give me more notice now.
I think she is worried because my mom and dad are grieving but I don’t think they are going to change their social courtesies because of it. They are moving closer because if something happens to my dad they don’t want me driving hours to get to see him like in the past.
I went to see The Offspring and Sublime (with Rome).
Offspring was pretty good though the arena had horrible sound. Sublime was hot garbage with Rome singing. The only thing saved it was the crowd knew all the words so we were all drowning out his shit singing.
If you work in an environment where you go from cold to warm and they fog up often, you can get antifog treatments that don’t last forever but do help keep them clear.
Buying a few pairs from cheap online sellers like goggles4u can save you a bunch of money. The antiglare coatings are applied to almost every lens already so don’t bother paying for more coatings.
In a restaurant that no longer exists called The Night Owl in Guildford BC they had a Monte Cristo sandwich. It was two thick slices of french toast with a ton of thin slices turkey, a nice slice of ham and a few thick melted slices of Swiss cheese with a decent pile of french fries served next to it.
In 20 years I haven’t found another place that made it as good as they did.
They were replaced with another restaurant that made incredible pasta, but that is another post entirely.
I went to my home town from across the country when my grandmother died, I was sleeping on the couch and my mom woke up early and was reading the newspaper close by and saw I wasn’t breathing much.
She said I should go to the doctor, a month later I had a CPAP and had my first restful sleep of my entire life, somehow I survived having a brain that doesn’t tell my lungs to breathe all the time while asleep.
I was practically a new person, it took some years for my brain to bounce back with regards to memory and clear thinking but I’m as normal as can be now.
A group of friends and I played a few years back and we found the natural end was when we could survive the hardest of the blood moons in our base without having any damages or breakthroughs and could easily beat any of the areas that were supply runs. We also had built multiple vehicles so we would bomb through in a convoy to wherever we were going and clear everything.
That was the end because we didn’t want to play anymore.
I took the aftermarket stereo out of my car in my mid 20s so I can hear bass well still but I often read people’s lips because that mid range hearing is not close to how it used to be if there are any ambient noises at all.
I buy the same pairs from Costco. Problem is every year they change the pattern on the bottom. 2 gray bars next year solid next year 3 bars.
Same sock but dammit I have to get the matching bars.
I worked in food logistics before my current job.
People think baked goods in stores are fresh, many are packaged and flash frozen then defrosted when it arrives at the store. Even fresh baked stuff is often proofed then flash frozen, baked from frozen. Nobody but expensive bakeries has actual bakers anymore.
From cake mix all the way to advil liquigels, then are almost always packaged by the same manufacturer. Why pay some other manufacturer to set up their production lines to make a generic version of something when the original company will do it for you and has their production line already set up to do everything except stamp their name on it.
