I had the same thought. Most people I encounter online and in person are not great at summarizing information regardless of the context.
For example: those who don’t summarize the content of a conversation and instead poorly and inaccurately act out the entire encounter, "word by word ". Ughhhhh.
Ummm, yeah, me too… Discounts…🏴☠️🦜
Just a one off gamble aided by a cocktail of ADHD impulsiveness, COVID anxiety, and the stress of living in a 5th wheel with three cats, a dog, and my wife. We did some weird shit.
We were living with family and we had no rent/mortgage for a few months. We live in a high cost of living area, so not having that payment means having an extra $2k+ per month. I miss that part but not much else.
Rezolute. They’re a biopharma company.
Not super rich, but we’d be doing substantially better financially if this went differently.
The year: 2020. I was playing with the stock market and decided to buy 10,000 shares of the cheapest stock, just because it was funny to say I had 10k shares in anything. It cost about $800.
A couple of months later, lo and behold, my $800 was worth about $5000! “Holy shit,” I said, “I made money on penny stocks!” I promptly sold all of it.
Several months later, I check on it again. The company has announced new technology and its share price has skyrocketed, from a few cents per stock to $25. I could have made $250k, but instead made $5k.
You’re basically describing a ketogenic diet. I started keto two months ago and it has seriously changed my life. I’ve lost tons of weight, my hair is noticably thicker, my mind is clear, I have tons of energy, I’m packing on strength and muscle mass, and my blood tests are not only normal but great for the first time in almost a decade. I have a chronic, incurable, largely untreatable illness that also seems to be gradually going into remission. I might be functional again someday,
I worked as a scientist for years so I’m one of the most skeptical bastards around but your assertion may have some merit. Granted, I get most of my calories from nuts and seeds, supplemented with meat, but I suspect what you’re saying is a different means to the same end.
You may know this, but if not…
Keep in mind they’re likely referring to the philosophy of liberalism, not the United States “liberal=progressive/left leaning”.
I agree, but I have a problem I don’t know how to overcome. Maybe someone here has an idea.
I’m ADHD as fuck.
It’s the inattentive type and it cuts both ways. It’s not uncommon for me to turn on my phone and get distracted from what I had intended to do by notifications. On the flip side, if I don’t have notifications to let me know to check something, I may just forget the app exists entirely. If it’s something important, that’s not great.
Anyone have any ideas?
That’s the “full self driving”. All the newer cars come with computers capable of doing it, but you either pay a $99/month subscription or a one time $8k charge.
I just checked out their website and apparently you can either transfer it to a new Tesla or leave it with the car and basically sell it to the new owner. Not what I expected at all.

Your comment made my teeth hurt. IYKYK.
I’m guessing your wife might be a redhead and/or has Ehlers Danlos Syndrome as both groups are resistant to certain types of local anesthesia. I have the latter and novocaine does next to nothing for me without using massive volumes.
Assuming I’m vaguely correct, if she hasn’t done so already, consider trying articaine, bupivacaine, or mepivacaine. I explained my situation to my dentist and he allowed me to trial each before jumping into dental work. Articaine was the first we tried and it works great for me.
Here’s the article I provided as evidence I’m not just crazy: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6834718/
Playing this game anew would be an upside to early onset dementia for me.
Oh, that’s clever! Definitely bookmarking that for future reference.
I just bought a smart TV, updated the software, and disconnected it from the Internet, only allowing it access to our local Plex server. No ads and no stupid suggestions. It’s great.
Mine neither, but they have sales and coupons once in awhile. My friends and I pitched in and we got about twenty pounds of exotic fruit for about $200, although it HAS been a few years. They might be price gouging like everyone else now.
If you’re in the United States and not in a tropical area, a website called Miami Fruit will ship you a banana sampler with some of the bananas you’ve been missing. Cavendish bananas are garbage.
That’s the one. We actually still use floppy disks in my industry.
This is the real pro tip.
