It’s bad enough that religions get to freeload and not pay taxes but now they’re trying to take our tax dollars to pay for their indoctrination.

Everyone on here was falling for it too.
So you feel the US is still in that intermediate sweatshop stage and that will go away if they could just get the capital to modernize?
Your hypocrisy is simple, yes
In other words, Israeli violence = Israeli are to blame, Hamas violence = both sides are to blame
It’s an obvious attempt to make Israeli violence seem more valid than other types while trying to downplay Hamas violence.
Laziness is posting a bias article to defend your own bias.
The 70 dead are allegedly from Israeli bombings, although we have neither ability to confirm or deny what’s caused ~half the hostages to die since Oct 7. I’d bet good money on it being multifaceted with both sides to blame. All in all a fair cry from the mental images the title invokes of a secret torture dungeon where they’re chopping hands off.
You downplay it as sensationalism in you last paragraph also.
You excuse Hamas violence but not Israeli violence? Seems pretty bias.
Trump wants to pull the US out of NATO and weaken our alliance with our allies like he did in his first term.
Trump also hamstrung our government so they got even less done than normal.
Not to mention Trump would abandon Ukraine allowing Russia to steamroll them.
These are just a few of the benefits they get from Trump. There are many more.
Before the fossil fuel shills can show up and say,
“we all need to reduce our carbon footprint so these companies will stop creating greenhouse gasses!”
Let me point out, that is a fossil fuel strategy:
Why do people pretend they know the reasons or intentions behind their downvotes?
That’s everywhere on the internet.
Give everyone a platform to be heard and anonymity to hide who they are and you will suddenly have a bunch of experts.
Arrest the police responsible with kidnapping charges.
You don’t have any stats. You have a link to a consumer reports article based off a survey…
Let me show you how flawed that is:
I’m going to hold a survey of my household to see how many people say you are wrong.
The results are in! 100% of the people surveyed said you’re wrong!
Check engine lights, oil leaks, coolant leaks transmission leaks, timing belts, timing chains, thermostats, water pumps, compression leaks, vacuum leaks, catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, ignition coils , spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributors, fuel pumps, fuel filters, fuel leaks, cracked block, thrown rod, warped crankshaft, scorn cam shaft, cam phasers, differentials, transmission problems and on… and on…
These are just SOME of the repairs that are common to ONLY gas vehicles and you won’t have any of these problems with an EV.
I get the range anxiety problem and I’m all for burning less fossil fuels, but the cost to own a hybrid is as much as an ICE and an EV combined. People are better off getting an EV with enough range to drive around town (which isn’t much) and using charging stations if they roadtrip. At least that’s the best choice cost wise.
There are several different configurations of hybrids so most of them don’t drive the wheels with only the electric motor. Most of them operate just like a gas car with twice as many parts to break by assisting the gas engine with the electric motor for a short range.
Gaskets and seals and spark plugs and air filters and fuel filters and all the maintenance items and fluid changes are often recommend based off time/mileage whichever comes first. So while you may not be adding up the miles as fast, the times between service is the same.
Hybrids have all the maintenance cost of ICE vehicles and twice as many drivetrain components to break. The extra cost to keep a hybrid on the road easily cancels out the gas savings.
Buy an EV and you have a simple drive train that will rarely break and has no maintenance.
The reason their repair service is expensive and slow is because it is mobile.
We are used to bringing our cars to the repair shop when they need service.
With Tesla the repair shop comes to you and that is much more expensive and time consuming to do.
