Reddit is all on one domain, so a search on that is a fairly simple thing to do. Lemmy is a lot of different inter-connected sites, most of which don’t even contain “Lemmy” in their name, making it a much more difficult ask.

Once you hit a certain size you become a tempting target for bots, spammers and trolls. Managing that is going to be a challenge.

Aren’t we getting fancy! When I moved over after the api changes all we had was potatoes. Lemmy is definitely improving with each new wave.
