Cheese and gravy (not the Canadian thing)
Cheese and gravy (not the Canadian thing)
I like it when they do that and also give you a free digital download code so you get both.
Damn, I used to like their crunch corners.
I degoogled to Proton mail initially. I didn’t like that I couldn’t search my emails (a security thing or something? But annoying) and then their Drive was absolutely useless on macos. I had about 100gb and it couldn’t sync even half of it.
After much help from support I eventually moved away to a combo of Fastmail, Mega and OnlyOffice.
Same with Australia. Seems a bit disingenuous to say it’s banned, it’s a government worker policy.
The first part is my first name, and I used to be in a punk band called Suspect Package.
Yeah I guess if you’ve been using it for a long time and have favourites built up that would work. I remember when YouTube started and it was pretty good, but with every video trying to game the algorithms I couldn’t imagine trying to start afresh now.
The people that say it’s their main form of entertainment must have to wade through so much crap to get to anything good, I just don’t see the point.
I don’t get the appeal of YouTube. I use it for maybe the odd music video or something, but often you’ll just get someone’s annoying commentary instead of the actual thing.
I live without it and it’s great! Try it.
All of these AI prompts sound like begging. We’re begging computers to do things for us now.
I see that makes sense. So what does making it public/blending traffic do?
I’m still trying to understand searxng, does it start with nothing and build up its index each time you search? Will your results be rubbish for a while?
What if I don’t use Assistant? Does it still have access to other parts of my phone?
I’ve just had ongoing problems since the start. I had ~100gb from Google Drive and it hasn’t been able to sync it all, the software constantly gets stuck (like it says it’s syncing, but if I close it and reopen it says “last synced 2 days ago”, etc), when I check on mobile some files are there and others aren’t. At one point they even gave me some custom script to run, I can’t remember what it did now.
It probably works well for a lot of people but in my experience it isn’t ready yet, and unfortunately it will get compared to Google Drive which it isn’t at the same level as yet.
I’m in the same boat, the issue is my pixel 6 pro has a big smash on the screen so the Graphene option isn’t possible. I used to have a Xiaomi and actually really liked it but I hear they’re changing the os/UI? Also I dunno about ads, that sounds crap.
Give it a try and see. I’m currently looking at moving from them, I shifted everything google workspace to proton in Nov and my main issue has been with Drive the whole time. The email is ok, but as it’s all encrypted the search is next to useless.
Yeah that’ll be it! I usually get Colman’s.
Spicy. I guess it’s similar to wasabi (some cheaper brands of both are even basically the same thing made with horseradish). You don’t need much, don’t squirt it on like American mustard. But it goes really well with red meat, or on a ham sandwich.
They use it as a substitute for egg whites in cocktails, and honestly it’s better.
Oh, no disrespect intended! Where I come from though we use cheese instead of curds, it’s practically a national dish.
