Wow thanks for that explanation I don’t think sailing is for me tho I live like 6 to 8 hours away from the sea and like the closest larger lake is also a couple of hours. I thought of it more like one of those hobbies where there isn’t really a limit on how much you can spend like self hosting and analog audio as I’m really bad with self control when I get into something ^^ but thank you for taking the time to explain and giving me a new perspective on sailing.

As soon as I heard about the emulator stuff I grabbed some archive torrents to seed overall more then 5 tb. All WII DS 3DS and SWITCH roms so they aren’t gone if you have the space to join seeding pm me and I’ll send you the magnet links because there are like only 5 seeder and a lot of leecher

They also have egress fees and I find the pricing very intransperent also you cannot delete your account without customer support and the delete function for files dose not work reliable

stroj task runs daily the initial sync took forever tho because I only have 5MB UP connection

I’m using a ZigBee sonoff thermostat with home assistant

I always test with Ubuntu torrents as the are probably the fastest seeded torrents around to check connection and speeds

so most of the time if your ISP goes down power is also out so cellular service might also fail because ether the power outage or high usage by useres using it as backup maybe Starlink? as it’s not affected by your local power grid

yes I’m on Hetzner too. the vpn is just to not have the Hetzner IP so I don’t get blocked

yeah got the same mail makes me really angry they don’t even name the hosting provider or what part of the TOS are violated. might just put Plex behind a vpn
