oh, i guess most of the times of heard indie, it was refering to small studios, where as i have never heard anyone call a large studio indie even if they are. thanks for the correction.

why is nobody here saying what the game is an alternative for or what ki d of game play to expect?

so aren’t all indies small? and the non-american thing is just taste.

Why cant you just say you only like either:

• non american games.
• small studios.

It takes people (souls) for a business to exist.

some people are evil.

Who/Where are these people that believe that? I have heard people say shareholders only care about profits, but I have never heard anyone say it was a law to maximize them. Regardless, they do love profits more than anyone or anything at any company. Companies also like to keep their shareholders happy. Evil comes about becuase of these.

I couldn’t get through the article after the second “had had”. i understand what they are saying, but it still sounds like a child wrote it.

i think its worth looking further back in time too.

i just went to the page. it has 4 genres, the last being fantasy. they may have choosen to exclude the fourth genre for the chart.

its like they choose 3 TB because they knew it was the smallest amount that would lose. lets make it a real re-match and go back to transfering 4 GB.

i dont know what lutris or heoric are. i wish i had more time to figure that stuff out. maybe one day.

thats what i was hinting at. and im not totally happy about epic ruining launches over trying to be a replacement for a, in my opinion, much better system which offers much more ever if they developers don’t use all the features. i do wish steam would add a lower tier which takes less of the profit from indie developers that hardly use any of these features.

Its is buying a new platform, rather than have my games in 1 platform, they would be in 2. also steam offers much more (at a greater cost to developers) then epic. i also only use linux, which is a not hard at all with steam.

i work too much to spend time looking into systems like this. also i don’t use windows.

So is it just me or does every game that becomes a epic exclusive never do as well as they should. i think most game developers realize this, which is why epic is desperate to get developers on their failing launcher. maybe they should try offering all the things steam does. regardless i cant switch because i own too many games on steam, im locked in.
