TIL that DVDs could even be regionally locked. That’s annoying.

David Bowie’s Nipple Antennae
Happy to be part of the top 1% in this case.
The weight issue is why I’m looking forward to (hopefully) seeing the Aptera make it to production. Being super aerodynamic and lighter weight so that it can charge up to 40 miles a day on solar alone. Lithium batteries would be better suited for this form factor.
That appears to be running Android tho 😄 (granted Gingerbread, a very old version) but I don’t think that counts as a “dumb” phone haha
That blue is very nice!
Curious what do you have now?
Just wish modern devices still had easily removable back covers without needing pry tools and hair dryers.
Wow that does kinda look like a Gameboy Advance just with way more buttons!
Do you still use an iPhone? I switched to Android after 4 years with my iPhone 5 and still use Android today.
If I’m home, I use just one towel and keep using it for like a week or two. If I’m in a hotel, they usually have so many towels so I’ll use the whole variety and fresh ones each day. It’s nice, but too lazy to constantly be washing towels when I’m home lol.
Yep! Could even use the tiny outside display as a viewfinder!
This small form factor running Android would be very cool! Despite a small screen, it’d probably work well enough since you wouldn’t have a software keyboard taking up 50% of the screen real estate. The e-ink keyboard is a good compromise of having dynamic changing keys but still have the tactile feedback.
That little camera module looks like it actually took decent pics based on the sample on the wiki. Esp considering it’s from 2002.
Oh ya I remember wanting that one a lot! I think it was too expensive for me at the time, so ended up with the alias 2 but I envied anyone who had one of those.
It was such a joy to text on it!
Moto Razr in silver was my first phone ever! Loved the design of it!
Used to hate it being on the bottom but now prefer it as it’s easier to reach. All the way at the top with as large as phones are these days isn’t as convenient. But ya, at least they give the option for either.
I had a flip phone up until 2012 and then got an iPhone 5, then switched to Android in 2016 with the Samsung Galaxy S7. I really liked my iPhone 5 but have stuck with Android since then.
I got my first taste of Android in 2008 though when my brother bought the T-Mobile G1!
