So is this a response to Vaultwarden becoming more popular?

(As an aside: One of the reasons I trusted a semi-proprietary hosted app like Bitwarden at all was that Vaultwarden exists, theoretically allowing me to move there if necessary.)

Around early 2021, I found myself suddenly thrown in Ivo/April calls and feeling tremendously unhappy, not just because Pandemic Year II sucked in general and team dynamic went to shit but also because these marketing folks were discussing not-so-grand grand ideas and blatant GDPR violations while sending literal hundreds of inexplicable 👏 emojis into the chat window of every call.

That’s a rather uncaritative interpretation of my words. I left of my own accord.

Hm… Reading the names of Ivo and Spencer triggered something in me. There are good people there too. These two are pretty obnoxious. Granted, the mock-German is ill-fitting for the two though, with one of them being an American, the other a Bulgarian(?) living in Germany.
