Folk punk sounds like a really interesting genre. Do you have any recommendations?

I mean I’ve seen more than a couple of shows at my local waterhole, and the price has been between free and $20. The $20 one was Moonhooch and absolutely worth it!
If you like listening to live music, it’s there, but it’s not T-Swizzle.
There is the old saying that “People don’t quit jobs, they quit bosses.” My advice is to go to therapy first, I think the question will sort itself out after that.
Boiling at atmospheric pressure generally takes much longer to sterilize than boiling at like 15 psi. I was mostly curious about how sterile we should be.
Would it be better to pressure sterilize it? Or would using distilled water be sufficient?
For outdoor survival stuff (like my avalanche beacon) they say you should only use the disposable ones. It’s probably got to do with cold tolerance or lifetime.
For Avalanche beacons you’re supposed to replace the battery after it gets below 95% charge.
Wildermyth is a weird game that comes up with really interesting procedurally generated stories as you play through the life of an adventurer.
I’ve had a lot of luck joining a run club, but there are other activity based clubs. The trick to these though is that you need to keep going to them for a while before you really start becoming friends with people.
What’s really worked for me was working as a snowboard instructor on the weekend. I’m not saying do that specifically, but finding a second job based around teaching is an amazing way to meet other people who like meeting new people and being nice and sharing their skills and experiences. I should specify, the people I meet are other instructors. I’ve also met some people at events, like when I got my avalanche rec 1 cert.
Umm, I don’t know, probably. I’m just curious about jobs like that in another country
Even if you’re forklift certified? Or other heavy equipment operator (crane, excavator, front loader, big truck)?
I’m not sure if this is satire or not, but I was making a rif of the “It’s like poetry, it rhymes.” Meme
I just assume it’s a George Lucas reference.
I’ve always wanted a battlefield like 40k experience. To be a little guardsman who gets krumped by the greener faction, or eaten by nids or spikies.
I’ve also been really enjoying games that are controlled with programming (the farmer was replaced has been a fixation recently). So I’d really like to make something like that. Like old school RuneScape, but the only way to play is to program a bot.
Going by your username I assume this is sarcasm?
As a 40k fan, there are so many good ones (as comes as a surprise to no one). Some personal favorites of mine are:
Not fiction nor fantasy, and that I think makes it all the more deserving
Well at least this time it’s better
I think there is something about fake videogames that really gets the imagination working. It’s like you’re putting together the pieces of a puzzle, but you have to make most of the pieces yourself.
A stoic though that helps me more than “man up” is asking myself “what harm will come to me?” In stoic thought we’re the only ones who can harm ourselves through the misuse of our impressions. We often know how we should act in a situation, but we don’t want to because of some perceived harm or discomfort. But since the stoics believed the only real harm was moral, we’re only hurting ourselves by not acting virtuously.
Will I hurt myself more by action or inaction? Through inaction what kind of person will I be? What will I lose through inaction?
Just listened to it. Yeah I get it
