Their bullshit AMA about third party apps and general “it’ll all blow over in a week” attitude should’ve made that apparent to more people. It’s why I left as soon as RIF stopped working, and why many of us are here now.
I’ll never give that shitshow of a website any traffic again
It starts with the basics; piracy, cp, etc. Then it becomes whatever the highest-paying corporation wants to censor. Opposing political views? Check. Anything pro-free thinking? Check. There’s no end to this, so we have to head it off at the pass. If corporations own the Web, we have lost (and we’re shamefully close to that reality…)
The traffic lights are on the pole, but the pole is only there to hold the traffic lights up so it doesn’t count. The black box that contains the traffic lights does, though, even though by itself it can’t be considered “traffic lights”. Idk maybe I’m an AI
