There’s been some discussion over the years that Tesla never seriously tried to make the battery swap work, that they did it to claim subsidies from California which they subsequently never returned to the taxpayers.
Oh, yeah I think you’re right. I think I might’ve changed it at some point.

7·7 months agoI have this issue too, caused by the anxiety I have knowing that the moment I have to speak publically my mind goes completely blank and the more I try to recall the worse it gets. To help overcome the issue I take a few minutes to make a brief list of notes at the end of every day that outlines what I worked on that day and where I left things.
It ends up in me mostly reading off a list but since I work remotely I just put it on another monitor and it’s not a big deal. I give it helped a ton and I feel much less put on the spot at the beginning of each work day.

3·8 months agoI honestly had no idea there was a SimCity 3000. Last one I played was SimCity 2000
Void Bastards was heaps of fun. Might be time for another playthrough before the sequel (Wild Bastards) comes out.
1·8 months agoThis pita recipe is my go-to low effort meal when I want some home made bread. Great with hummus or some other dip, I usually freeze a bunch and just defrost one in the microwave then wrap it in paper towel and hit it with 30s - 1m on medium power for a quick snack later.
I use instant yeast so I don’t bother waiting for the yeast to activate, I do include the optical olive oil, and I cook them in a pan on the stove top. I can usually get a batch done in under 2 hours, which includes the proofing time.
Unbelievable.
Been running it for about 6 months now with no issues apart from a weird display issue when I go full screen in YouTube in Firefox on one display and the other display goes all white except for a couple of glitchy flickery areas, but I think that’s more Wayland/plasma 6 related.
I will say that I’ve worked with the Linux command line for years now so I may be slightly more technically capable with it in general than a complete newbie but I think most other people here on Lemmy have a similar level of experience as me.
