Lots of people covered other things I dislike more, so I’ll say the curved screen at edges. I liked it flat better. It also makes it so much harder to install the screen protector.
That would be a mass killing (many murders in one session) not serial killings (many murders spread out over time).
Ugh, as if.
That’s super cool! I knew a guy that would eat small ropes and pull it out his nose but… Wow that is next level. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely. It’s best to know your own limits. (Akin to dropping something too heavy before hurting yourself.)
That is definitely a thing.
A thought-terminating cliché (also known as a semantic stop-sign, a thought-stopper, bumper sticker logic, or cliché thinking) is a form of loaded language, often passing as folk wisdom, intended to end an argument and quell cognitive dissonance.
The real LPT is in the comments.
When you take them off at night, don’t put them lens down directly on furniture or anything like that. You will scratch them. You can either set them on a microfiber cloth face down, lay them the other way (lens up), or get a glasses stand if you’re feeling fancy.
You could use your glasses holder, which is what I do when I travel, but I find that being able to access my glasses quickly is more valuable to me.
Also I get discount glasses from Zenni, Costco, or Eyeglass World. I never get just one pair because I am forgetful. If you can swing it, I would get at least one backup pair.
When you get a new prescription, you can keep one pair of the old glasses in case something happens to your current pair(s). (The plan being that you will not be completely screwed, you’ll have a “close enough” pair until you can rectify the issue.) If you do that, store them in a case and label the case with the date you got that prescription. I would only keep at most one backup from your old pairs.
When I was on welfare, I got Medicaid. (Free health insurance from the government.) I chose the plan with no copays or deductibles. It was nice.
They had another plan where the copay was $3. I had it before I moved to the no copay plan. It’s fine, but being on welfare at the time, every dollar counted.
Now I have my employer plan and my copays range from $15 - $50, depending on the type of appointment I see. I pay about $1k/month in premiums.

What, my first dialect of German shouldn’t be epic memer?
The fella next door blasted his music at 2am for the last time.
So jealous of that counter space!
Where do you keep the fridge?
Hopefully this isn’t unwanted advice, but I have also cut out a lot of meat from my diet and I started getting weird side effects. (Lost feeling in my hands and feet, got dizzy a lot, felt extra stupid.)
After seeing a doctor, I take vitamin B and D supplements and it helped a lot. If you can’t see a doctor, you might consider trying some vitamin B and seeing if that helps. Apparently lots of vegetarians and vegans take it too.
I’m a lesbian and my partner is also partially disabled. She manages her conditions but as far as we know, it’s as good as it will get. (I have chronic issues too but I am typically mobile.)
We like to game together. We watch movies together. She also games with her friends and I go out and do other more physically demanding activities with my own friends. We like to discover new food and talk about politics.
We found that our sense of humor and morality aligns well and we enjoy each other’s company. That and the fact that she was independent drew me to her.
Good luck out there.
Oof I forget about these. Or just the plain hypocrites that publicly shame abortion but will secretly get one (or have their partner get one) and go right back to shaming abortion. Or substitute any other thing they have a moral objection to, really.
Their own situation called for it, and it is fine because they are “right.” But those other people, it is not fine because they are “wrong.”
“I suffered, and so should you. Stop complaining!”
It really does come down to this for a lot of folks. Anyone that tries to fix it are considered “whiners” to these folks.
It blows my mind when people do that.
“Hey, the way that you styled yourself makes me not want to have sex with you.”
“Uhhh… Cool?”
