Whenever i have a knife and see a thick electrical wire i have to stop myself from “just testing” what would happen if I cut into it. I work with 400v ac on a construction site a lot and I know what would happen lol.

Oh that sounds so cool, you got any videos of those machines?
I could do other tunneling methods, but I really want to make a TBM specifically
I want to make a tunnel boring machine for digging ~2 meter tall tunnels in sandstone. Sadly I live in a place with only sand in the underground and that’s not suitable for digging tunnels DIY style
Gotta say, this comic sure is above my level of understanding, but thanks for breaking it down for me.
Also that single high detail pane reminds me of SpongeBob square pants, I like it
I must admit, I have no clue what’s going on here. I do like how the comic look tho
That sounds like a harsh thing to say, even if it’s their last day
Are you talking about streams and rivers, and not ground water wells?
The last time I failed at something at it being 100% my fault, was when I had to turn in a report on a fictional hotdog stand. It was a report about how you keep it clean and stuff. I had gotten it ready and was all set for turning it in. So while eating lunch at i suddenly remember that I had forgotten. So I call the school and they say ‘tough luck’ and that i have to wait an entire month to try again.
Well, it turned out i could just turn in the same report, but I got an entire month extra up prepare, and defend it on the same day as my classmates. I never really understood how any of that worked.
So long story short, nothing bad happened
In my country we have song that came from a advent calender, called “jul på Vesterbro” and its my all time favorite (link to YouTube). Note that it’s the same actor that plays every role
The Danish Air raid sirenes allways gives me the creeps, I think it’s the clear sound that gets me. Unlike other sirenes that has a harsha tone, the Danish ones have a almost sterile tone, convaying the feeling of “this sound is vary important, stop now and go Inside. Like a scary Teacher”
Starts at 0:15 and later has a “all clear” tone later on on youtubes
Then again it might just be because I had to listen to it as a kid, and I was a weird ass kid
Wonderful. I’m gonna have a look at that, I’ve been hoping to find something that works with sponsorblock
I gotta say, that explanations sounds way better than shrugging and saying “close enough”. But then again our teachers usually say “fanden være med det” meaning “devil be with that” actually meaning “Fu*k it” when it comes to those small deviations
I have figured that if I’m not clean enough to use the same towel all over, I haven’t showered well enough. But I don’t see any problem in having multiple towels
Nope. Mechanical engineering. So usually we say g=10 and then make the steel a bit thicker and call it a day
I usually go for once a week to once every two weeks. But I do have a heated towel dryer, and k think that helps to keep bacteria to grow in them. My advice is to make sure you hang your towl somewhere they can air out well
We learned 9.82 m/^2. But in the classes I have as an engineering student we use 10 m/s^2. And I wish I was kidding when I say it’s because it easier to do the math in your head. Well obviously for safety critical stuff we use the current value for wherever the math problem is located at
Strange it doesn’t mention the structural metal skeleton keeping it all together. That’s like saying my car is completely made of paint
