Depends on when you watched it, I guess. Initially it was Star Wars, but he NEEDED us to know it was not the beginning of the story. I still call it Star Wars

With only 20 of 90 VR games available I’d say I was already fucked over and I am nowhere near the end… Thank you for the suggestions on how to over come the issues I have so far
I have faith steam will continue to improve proton to the point of “it just works”. As well, any new purchases of hardware will be Linux ready.
I must say Linux HAS gotten more user friendly over the last 20/30 years, and the GUIs have gotten more stable. My first Linux distro was red hat enterprise Linux, and then I hopped around to fedora, then mandrake and mandriva, a buddy suggested slack at one point, then I found Ubuntu, and now Kubuntu, I prefer the gnome environment but kde plasma seems to work better. Wayland is also long over due.
I will keep testing and one day I will be joyous. Linux is so close, just a few more years™.
And when support ends graphene goes in
I uninstalled copilot after an update installed it, on win 10
I can tell you my issues, so far.
Logitech G13 left hand kb - no drivers, Steam VR library 20 some of 90 some games come up in steam, Microsoft intellipoint trackball, only left, right, and wheel work but cannot program the other 2 buttons, no BlueStacks - simple to use phone emulator.
Haven’t gotten any further as if VR library is not available there is no point getting rid of windows, and I really want to get rid of windows. I just don’t have the drive I used to, to fix, look up hints, tinker with my os and reinstall new ones. It has to just work. I have Kubuntu installed on a 4tb sata ssd, rtx 4070ti super, Ryzen 7 3800, 32gb ram. In the last month steam VR made some strides as setting up was as seamless as windows, but as I stated I am missing 2/3 of my VR library
Same, I turn off monitors and do the 3 finger salute. Only turn it off for cleaning. Been doing this since my first 486 PC.
I remember little chocolate bottles with alcohol in them, they were great
I have a buddy who can’t stand 1x, he does 2x, I guess the pitch shift doesn’t bother him as much. Thanks for the reply
Oh sweet, I’ll be looking at that tonight. Thanks. If it blocks on their page I’ll just disable, watch, reenable, but it sounds like this should only work on the main page. Thanks again
ublock can do that? I only watch my friends shorts to help them with views and thumbs, will it block the shorts if I go to the channel and view there, or only on main page?
Oh, quick question for you. Do you watch/listen to the videos at 1x, 1.5x or 2x?
I can’t even stand listening to the AI voice overs. This one yt chan does Dune and a bunch of other stuff I like to watch and listen to, but their use of an AI voice over reading their material just turned me off completely after 4 videos
Not sure why the downvotes, she does use her knowledge to play the stocks along with many many others. If politicians want to trade stocks their trades should be made public 24hrs before they are made, that way everyone benefits
I typed 1 or 2 from a book my dad typed a bunch more, so long ago it’s all a blur
I don’t remember, it was some god awful (by todays standards) game written for the Vic 20, I remember Omega Race and Clowns but I am sure there was a few before them
Lemmy, where the votes are made up and karma don’t matter
Look for eco conscious companies in your area, even if they are just doing it for optics. The property management co I work in has a battery recycling bin in the main lobby, others keep them out of sight but are just a request away. I just did a google search of my area and there are so many listed. Search “Recycle batteries in [city]”
Edit: I don’t use THAT search but it is so burnt into my mind I missed it there, sorry, lol
Got an og Vive (699.99 cdn at the time came with headset, controllers, and base stations), playing the hell out of that headset just over a year in steam VR playtime at 2 - 4 hrs a day. I have played Half-Life:VR mod (due to the age of the actual game it is my worst port experience) Half-Life 2: VR mod, Half-Life 2 ep 1 and 2 in VR (absolutely amazing) Raft:VR mod (a few bugs and a few abilities missing from flat, but overall flawless) The Forest:VR mod(excellent), and let’s not forget Valheim:VR mod.
Quest garden can be limiting but you can plug your quest (air link, ?whatever? desktop, link cable) and pretty much play anything on steam, personally have 90+ titles under my VR library (no beat saber). You can check yt for people playing these flat2vr games
