There are plenty of examples of Ai either refusing to discuss subjects of the elections (I remember meta ai basically just saying “I’m learning how to respond to these questions.” Or in the above case, just hand waving away clear issues of wrong doing.
Chat gpt advanced voice mode would constantly activate its guardrails when asked about trump or “politically charged” topics.
Incidentally, no Western ai would make a statement on Donald Trump’s crimes leading up to the election. Ai propaganda is a serious issue. In China the government enforces it, in America, billionaires.

I found a picture of a similar device. No idea if it’s a photo op or was really used like the picture suggest.
I could be entirely wrong about this, as it’s a dim memory, but I think this sort of device was used as a pilot teaching tool in WWII.

It rapidly became one of my favorite single player games of all time after I bought it in late 2020. However, it is fundamentally a hiking simulator with a light sprinkling of open world stealth/action/horror gameplay and some innovative passive online multiplayer mechanics.
So, it might just not be your cup of tea. Especially if you don’t like simulation / management games such as fight simulator 2020, FTL, etc. However, if you enjoy meditative or atmospheric games, such as dear ester, fallout 3, valheim, Firewatch, maybe give it a shot when it’s on sale. The world building is fantastic, and the vibes are sublime.
As far as I know, this hasn’t been mentioned, but I hope it launches for PC day 1. I’ve played DS1 through twice on steam deck. That said, DS2 may require an upgrade.
Something which clarified Zuck’s behavior in my mind was an interview where he said something along the lines of, “I could sell meta for x amount of dollars, but then I’d just start another company anyways, so I might as well not.”

Why is everyone so mad about this? I mean, it’s a salty article, but yeah, it kinda sucks when publications don’t give notice before closing down. I think providing the public, including previous contributors, time to archive content is a good practice.
I have to say after watching the videos, boo to the corpo for the weird exploitative lies, but kudos to the two women for staying in character! It last 42 hours on battery, can be charged via the car or solar, goes down to freezer temps, and the battery is detachable and can be used to charge your devices. It would be much easier to keep essentials cold for a week using this, even if it’s small, and it would be great for car camping.
