Could always just make it completely optional. Or very limited, like you can draw on the map Animal Well style, but if you want to add a screenshot, you have to buy tokens for it from a shop or something? In-game of course, not microtransactions lol

That Prince of Persia Metroidvania that came out a couple years ago had a very useful feature where you can not only make custom marks on your map, it also attaches a screenshot to the marker that pops up when you hover over it.
Super useful, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen it used in other Metroidvania games…
Also, not even sure what specifically, but more games should be like Animal Well. So… Just do that lol
I prefer when the “world” is smaller scale like the Yakuza series for example.
Otherwise, I will immediately get distracted and 100% will never even get close to finishing the main quest.

Maybe people should do research on the available milk brands before giving it to their children if they didn’t want them to drink bleach.
Edit: I tried to resist adding the “/s,” but we live in crazy (stupid) times, so…

Like, wth are they even doing over there to not have solved that issue day 1 on the switch.
Are you honestly asking why Nintendo doesn’t allow you to simply bypass purchasing their console? Really? Why do you think?

Why is everyone assuming that the people in possession of this theoretical technology would have good intentions for the rest of humanity?
Imagine if Elon Musk, Donald Trump, or Vladimir Putin had control of it. This is exactly what the world would look like.
