Actually played and enjoyed this one!
Done!
Looks a lot likehttps://github.com/open-webui/open-webui
I’m using it with open router, helps me claw back a little privacy
Man there’s a lot of the last note app you’ll ever need!
My eldest when her internet want working confidently told me her computer couldn’t connect to the globe
If you think that’s rough, growing up with the classic makes it really rough to see them force a generic extraction shooter into a beloved franchise for no reason
I run nixos, so my entire homelab servers setup is stored in my github. I can rebuild a server and restore backups from that (and sops keys). I significantly prefer this to having to remember and note a huge bunch of things to setup a computer - this way a rebuild on new oc is only a few hours tops
Depends on the circumstances tbh. Things like sops do load the secret unencrypted on the machine (with perms but still unencrypted. For remote VPS encrypted at rest is probably better. K8S has secret management but there unencrypted too.
Another alternative could be using Doppler secrets managment platform, I used it for a while
I think it’s overkill for homelab and over complex/additional failure points.
I use sops encrypted, published in my public git. When I apply my nix config, they are pulled and unencrypted on apply on the local machine.
Keeps it as simple as I can think of, with few moving parts.
Trillium notes
I’ll be doing my part defending Super Earth on Friday night. With a whiskey. On Bazzite, it runs fine on Linux.
I enjoyed my pebble time, but I think I’ll steer clear of this until it’s out based on history.
Really enjoying ditching the smartwatch and using a Citizen solar/atomic analog, which should go 10+ years without needing a new battery. Really tired of remembering to charge it when traveling, and buzzing notifications on a smartwatch wasn’t a interruption I need.
This looks pretty sweet honestly
Blue prince, Bauldars Gate 3, little assasins creed 1 on the deck. Finished Dave the diver last week, it was great!
I still get chills playing when the collosus jumps in-system first time and in subsequent scenes where your flying a incredibly tiny fighter vs capital ships that take up your entire screen.
I really haven’t felt that sense of awe in other space games oddly, and the story of both 1 and 2 was chilling.
Underrated for sure. But 99 was a amazing year for games (I’m a huge system shock 2 fan). But a cursory wiki look at 99 makes me feel so sorry for modern gen kids waiting over a decade for a new elder scrolls or GTA.
Yes, however it wont auto-download oldest-newset, and more annoyingly it wont play next in that reversed order, it just stops the ep and I have to manually find and select the next ep in that podcast. I sorta don’t grok the AP workflow with queue and inbox - most of my podcasts are story/investigative journalism style and I want to just click on a podcast, press play to resume where I was at, and auto roll through the podcast in whatever order it should be.
APs workflow seems very much aimed at listen to a jumble of whatever’s been recently released’ so I feel like I’m fighting it to work like I expect
It’s been wild watching the tech grow since Atari 2600!
