Ok, now someone do a mere mortal take.
These jobs should be rewarded more, but lower-skill jobs should still provide for a decent life, which they don’t. Having to work two jobs is a failure of the system, not the individual.
Crypto craze, now AI, I think they’ll find something else when the bubble’s corrected. Enjoy the dough 😁
That nobody mentioned Transport Tycoon Deluxe is criminal. I recommend the live-action version recorded for the mobile release: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuJy9oCdUns
Recent. cAP AC (1yo) and cAP lite (3yo) are still running in my household, and RB4011iGS+RM (3yo) was until about a month ago.
What they say, plus I wouldn’t recommend Mikrotik HW, which I went with based on Reddit recommendations for much the same use case as yours. Pretty clunky to set up, had to debug some idiosyncracies with the help of the forums, their wireless gear is slow, and it all runs hot AF.
Maybe. Who am I to judge?
INSIDE absolutely blew me away a few months ago, and I got a recommendation for Little Nightmares in a discussion about it. After about half an hour, I’ve gotta say, it’s properly weird and I wonder what’s it got in stock for me.
Yeah, I’ve heard good things about the second one, so I’m doing the first one now. Finding the stars is truly insane sometimes.
If you haven’t, give the Talos Principle a try. It scratches the same itch as Portal for me, although the tone is less whimsical, but equally bizarre.
All that sweet, sweet obsidian.
I think it’s not even about shadowbanning, I think it’s about Twitter not giving you anything to interact with (a discovery mechanism). Reddit/Lemmy has a list of subreddits/communities that have a clear focus, so you can jump right in and engage. Neither Twitter nor Mastodon have that. There, you need to find people who generally post/share things that interest you, but that’s a lot more difficult.
Thanks! I’ll check it out.
Yep. I’ve been here for one day and I’m already talking in conversations. Took me two weeks to get anywhere on Mastodon. (And exactly the same on Reddit and Twitter before… the incidents.)
Nomination itself is a kind of a prize. Yes, BG3 will probably win everything, but that’s what happens if it’s really that good at everything. LotR won 11 Oscars because it was better than all the other contenders that year, but the nominations mean they were recognised as good enough to go against the winner.
Yes, NES games. Now try that with Baldur’s Gate.
If you can encode your entire game progress into that level code, then it’s just that, yep.
Not enough info in the article to tell the difference, I’d say. Maybe because this should apply to your local games? IDK
This could be any game, and anyway, does this sub get so much traffic it’s a problem?
